Okpe – isoko are the most outstanding people in Isoko land, the major families are divided into four; they are the ovie (king) family, the ono( king maker) family, the otota( speaker) family and the uwremu (sharer or divider) family.
They collectively constitute the major leadership and ruling council before the community. They also have sub group the chairman, the chairperson leading the women/ladies.
All festival must be declare open by Ovie or a Delegated prince to do so, they adorn the isoko traditional marriage attire for 2019.
Isoko traditional marriage attire consists of many colors; conspicuous and brighter colours. Their main colors are yellow and blue. They are firmly connected with their river cultures. Therefore, the blue color is predominated in their clothes as it symbolizes their connection with rivers.

Isoko traditional attire has evolved with time and men prefer to wear cowboy like hats, with a walking stick. They wear long shirts and pants in bright colors, like blue, yellow, orange or white.
